· Why do parents choose an alternative school?
Parents choose to send their children to DAS for a variety of reason. Many cherish the opportunity to participate in their child's education and the sense of community they find at DAS. Others value the sense of mutual respect among parents, staff and children and DAS's concern for the individuality and emotional development of their child. Many value the strong commitment to "Peacebuilding" and find it consistent with the values they teach at home. |
